Hotel

Are pets allowed?

At this time, although we love animals, the guest suites are not pet-friendly. This does not include service dogs. See hotel policies for more information.


Are you a kid friendly hotel?

No children under the age of 18, including babies, are allowed on property at any time. You must be 21 years of age to book a room.


What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in starts at 4pm. Check-out is by 11 am. If you need early or late check-outs please email us (stay@heightshousenc.com) and we can add hours for an additional fee. ($35/hr fee.)


Do you have a 24/7 front desk?

We do not. Guest Services is onsite from 7am-9pm on weekdays and 7am-11pm on weekends. Assistance is available 24/7 through our messaging system.


Do hotel guests need a reservation at the parlor?

They do not! Come by any time. If you plan to invite friends to join you just give us heads up on your party size so we can be sure to reserve space for you.


Can you accomodate allergies?

Of course! Please notify us if you have any allergies or food restrictions. We will do our best to accomodate with advance notice by calling or emailings. stay@heightshousenc.com


Is there parking?

Yes, we have about 20 onsite parking spots free for guest use.


Do you have a fitness center?

Guests receive complimentary passes to two YMCA locations, both within walking distance from our property. We do not have an on-site fitness center.


Do you have refrigerators in the rooms?

There are not individual refrigerators in the guest rooms. There are two refrigerators on property that available for guest use. One in our dining room and one in the lower lounge.


Is there an elevator?

As a historic property, we do not have an elevator. We do have a wheelchair lift that services all of our levels except for the second floor.


How many rooms does the property have?

We have nine rooms total. Five rooms are part of the historic house and four were added on in an addition during renovations.


Do you have an electric car charging station?

We have on single port charger available for complimentary use for hotel guests. Please ask reception desk for a charging card for access.


Do you have a restaurant onsite?

We do not. We service a continental breakfast in the morning (included with your stay) and have alcoholic beverages, snacks, cheese & charcuterie boards available for purchase at any time. There are a plethora of phenomenal restaurants in walking distance of the hotel - see below!


Where do you recommend to eat nearby?

We have so many wonderful restaurants in walking distance or a short drive. Talk to our guest services about what you are looking for and they would be happy to recommend options and make you a reservation. For a short list of our favorites, see below! ( * Walkable from Heights House.)

Events

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Children under 18 are welcome to attend the wedding festivities, and my stay overnight with prior written approval from HH. Children under the age of 15 must have adult supervison at all times. We require that one babysitter be hired for every three children as Heights House staff will not be held responsible.


What are your max guest counts for events?

Our max guest count for weddings and other large events is 149 and elopements is 35.


What vendors do you require clients choose from your preferred vendor list?

Currently, the tent company, caterer and wedding planner are the vendors we require you choose from our list. All tents must be through Grand Rental or Curated Events, and our caterer options are HL Catering, Under the Oak, Donovan's Dish, Beau Catering, Snap Pea, Ramelles Catering & Grandchamp Hospitality. When does a tent become a requirement?

Due to our limited space indoors, if you plan to have a seated dinner with more than 35 guests, a tented dinner on the lawn is required.
